Opel corsa lite 1.4 not starting

Good day gents know you are well.
Ive got a opel corsa lite 1.4 car was driving normal with no symptoms this morning car just died under my feet. I tried starting it no luck.

1.engine ligth just flashes while ignition is on

2 if vehicle is switch off and you apply brake the dashboard lights switches on.

Any help would be glady be appreciated

Was earth wire from batry to body
