Hi all opel fans.
I have recently dropped a 20seh (2.0 8v)engine into my opel astra which ran a x18xe (1.8 16v).
i want to know if the ecu would run it and what i might need to change?
ive gotten the car to start but I cant drive it, it just jerks when i try.
i want to know what the main things are i need to look at or even replace to make sure that the car runs properly.
im running the 1.8 coilpack at the moment.
my main concerns right now is the throttle pos sensor that might be different, as the older ones had 3 stages and the newer ones ran from 1 through?
also the the crank gear pully, should i usre the one from the 1.8 or one from the 2.0?
another question i have is, are the gears inside on the crank for the positioning sensor the same or are they different? and if i need to can i take the one off the other to swap them? do they have the same mounting to the crank?
