Hiya and Welcome!

From my experience, some older opels are not fully OBDII compliant

I have noticed that newer scanners do not all work on older Opels. I bought a cheapie off takealot and it couldn't scan my 2007 Corsa C UTE. It could scan and clear codes on a 2008 Corsa D, a 2012 Ford Focus, a 2006 Golf 5 and a 2002 Hyundai Atos with no issues.

As for which model you should buy, chat to my buddy Luciano on O72.247.1O26. He does diagnostics.
He might even be able to source you one after lockdown.

Thank you.
About 2 years ago i had asked a mechanic and he said no standard obd2 devices work with the corsa lite as the corsa lite has got custom software specific for South Africa and the standard obd2 wont read any data.

Might be a good idea to speak to Waseem at Corsatech and also hear what he has to say about it. Maybe he can help or advise you with regards to it as well.
