Fitting Lower Ball Joint on Corsa Utility 1.4 2007 model

So my ball joins have call it quits and need replacing, a friend of mine says i need a grinder to remove them, it this true?

Thats the only way to do them . Dont forget the safety glasses

Went under the car and confirmed that's the way to go......Now to get the safety goggles.
