I have every intension of doing this job myself but need to know if there are tricks do's and don't I have done it once before with a mate of mine and it worked out great on my GSI. Gonna get material @ Kehls and some contact glue anything else I might need? |

He's my experience 1.) Tools needed so far, Screw driver and Touque set. 2.) Remove head rests and lower seats 3.) Remove sun visor and all other fittings. 4.) I wedged out the fasterners in the middle of the roof using two flat screw drivers. 5.) loosen pannels with tourque screw driver. 6.) mark wires and remove interior light. 7.) I opted to cut the wires to the arlarm sensor 8.) It;s easy after this just pop out the ceiling and manouver it out the back door be carefull not crack the mould dont be impatient.

Guys I have a question. I got someone to do my roof lining but the idiot cut the wires to the light and never replaced it. Where do i trace the wires from? so i can rerun the lines without having to take the lining out. Edit: I cant take it back to him, guy resprayed my car and thats far from where i stay. |
