So I bought these ie rims in black from this rim guy Zain,cool guy,got. Excited and decided to refurb it myself since I can spray. Prepd and cleaned and came out great! Paint costed me R70 half litre and I had hardener. Had a compressor and mini spray gun.

5th rim has a buckle, so need to have that repaired.

Was also supprised with how it came out,its a standard issue silver they have and I only used 250ml of the 500ml I bought,the harderner and little thinners makes it more obviously. But I meen if I scratch it I can just go buy again without having to mix it specially so I'm glad for that.

@dj7 wheelworx charged R450 a rim for buckling when i went there.

think i'm going to DIY my mx6 rims to get them back to original colour. how long did you leave them to dry?

1Hour in the sun. Baked. Then I could touch them. But left it out all day.
