Best results would be piping all the way to behind the spotlight. But it's still not better than std airbox. Just make sure that cone doesn't see water. 8O

Silicone reducer on intake into aluminium pipe going to where your airbox used to be, then 45 degree bend going to the front of the car, pointing down as much as it can, then another 45 degree bend pointing down so that the filter can sit somewhere behind the bumper. Usually behind the spot. It's going to be some figuring out using silicone attachments and aluminium pipe to get the setup to look best.

Yes that's the usual one. You can buy the kit like that from most accessories shops

Thanks guys

I fitted the kit over the weekend but I noticed a whistling sound. When I put my foot down I get a whistling sound and when I take my foot off the accelerator. It seems to go away when I go over 3000rpm.

Any idea what could be causing that and how i can fix it ?
Thanks

Lol I know what sound the filter makes , but it isn't sounding like it should . Sounds like there's air coming in somewhere where it isn't suppose to

Are you sure it's a whistling sound and not more of a Darth Vader sucking noise? If it's the latter then it's normal. Usually under very light throttle and at cold start when the car is cold.

Are all the tubes still fastened properly to the sensor that was attached to the back of the old filter box? I know when the middle one starts coming off it whistles and the revs are high at idle.

I know what sucking noise you taking about , but it's not that..
I've noticed my revs are higher at idle so I will check the tubes going into the sensor .

8v doesn't go any quicker on induction . . . . as I understand - just loud and more fuel being used 'cos you play with that make noise pedal more often
