I have a CD 30 MP3 head unit in my Corsa C. I see there are parts available online to give it an Aux In, but no guide's as to to what it takes to get it working. Some people have installed additional buttons to activate it, some recon you need to get into Tech2 to activate it.
Anyone done this? There's a BC button on my head unit that doesn't seem to do anything, would be first prize if I can get that to be my Aux button.
And while on the topic, can you easily retrofit steering controls for the head unit? It would seem like too much effort if you have airbags.

In my opinion you'll be better fitting a new head unit in your car that has all the features and more .. e.g.:

While thats a cool option, at R5k+ I dont think so. I have no desire to have a tv on my dash, or any of the other features. I simply want a clean audio signal from my phone to my speakers. Would be waaay over kill.

then you might wanna go do some youtubing about fitting the aux cable ..
You might have to splice into an existing cable.
Also, I understand you get some AUX interface cables for OEM CD30's, but then you gotta have the plug at the back of the unit.
