Is there anyone who has one of these Jensen dvd players in there car?

I need help with the following.
-How do I override the parking brake so that the dvd player can play while the car is driving and not only when the handbrake is up.(not sure of the law on this) :spank:
-My memory keeps resetting when I turn off the ignition. How do I fix that?
-The player is currently only working with the ignition on, so how do I get it to work without the ignition?

Any help will be appreciated.

Keep it like that rather, cos leaving ur car and forgetting to switch ur deck off is gona give u a hard time.

and to answer ur first question, theres a cable that needs to be unplugged for the screen to play while driving..i cant remember what one it is tho..

Wrong, the remote wire is for amp power only, connect yellow and red wires together to the power source of the car(battery), this will keep memory

I think the brown wire goes to the handbrake lever. Just check to make sure what color it is. That wire must be earthed for the DVD to play while driving. Illegal AFAIK.

Thank you for the help so far guys...I attached a piece of flex wire to the parking line and it accidently touched the body of the car so I earthed it and now my videos can play while I drive, so that is sorted. As for the other solutions I will try to do what you guys said this weekend hopefully if I get some time.
