Hi,

Does anyone know how to remove a factory fitted 2007 Corsa lite 14i sport radio? The thing does not want to play anymore. Checked all the fuses in fuse box , no problem there. Is there maybe another place where the problem might be?

It is completely dead. My battery died, and some smart ass. Tried to fix "the relay starter cable" by bridging between fuses with a paperclip. Well he got a shock, and since then the radio does not work. Now I know it is not the fuses, took each one out, and none blown. There is a fuse behind the radio, but I can't get to the thing, as I can't get the radio out. That is my problem, getting it out......................... Bleh!

There are generally 2 ways of installing a head unit.
One uses clips and the other screws.
I personally have never seen a car with a screwed in radio but this method exists

Spring-Mounted Clips
Inside car stereos held in place with this method have 4 small clips that prevent the unit from sliding out of the dash. You will need to buy a pair of U-shaped DIN tools in order to remove the radio. At the top of the "U" are small poles that engage the clips. Once inserted properly, you should hear a "click," and the radio should simply slide out of the dash.

Ps the U shaped DIN TOOLS looks like a ice sucker stick just thinnner, longer and made of metal
