Might go to that sound addikts thingy sat but not sure what song to play, my 1st sound off running a very basic setup 12" pioneer dvc very small box and a mono
Right now its between bass mechanics, a love song or a datsik boosted version of a milli, all 3 are heavy
But what do you guys play? What do "yall" recommended?
Also settings...must I be playing with the bass settings while the numbers are running or max everything 1 time?
What other tips and tricks do you guys have?
No idea what to expect but ill be happy with 80dbs or there about

Hi
when is this sound off?
1stly, dont run your deck settings on max.
On your mono block, put your bass boost on full, and set the crossover to about 50Hz to 90Hz (which ever sounds better, u can set it higher if need be)
and then put your volume at its highest non distorting level, then increase your gain on the mono till the sub distorts, then turn the gain about 2 clicks down so its clear...
then you work with increasing your bass settings on your deck...
as for song, shew,,, too many lol but for bass tests its best to use frequency bursts.

Ok, first question is what are you competing in? SPL or bass boxing?
If SPL, then find out what frequency a corsa is, i forgot that and play a bass mechanics song that is that frequency. that will help achieve best results. dont max everything, you could end up asking too much of the mononand then get a crappy reading because of it. drop seats or remove your backboard or do both. so that you dont have anything obstructing the pressure being expelled from the sub.
If bass boxing play the a milli song.
You could have just sent me a msg or popped around by me.

nnnnnnope, dropping your seats has nothing to do with classing. it only helps with SPL

@ vitesh its tomorrow took this from the ad
this coming Saturday, 22nd February, at Fairmount Secondary School in Klip Rd Grassy Park. The event kicks off @ 10am until 6 pm

Sound Off R100 for 3 runs
@ dj I never know when you home bra...your corsas always mia...not have no idea what type it is...but I would want to run in the lowest class with reg to the setup
I'll try those settings and see if it makes a difference to the ear...right now on the deck its -7 bass + 7 treble and turnd up a bit on the amp
