Hi , i have 2 12" pioneer 1400 watt svc subs wired in parallel . i know the current amp i have is to weak..

These subs are 4 ohm , but wired in parallel its 2 ohm

So my question is , i need a monoblock that gives 800 rms @ 2 ohm for 2 subs so its equals to 400 rms for each sub?
And what amp do i need for this , i currenly have a targa 3000 watt amp monoblock , not sure about rms rating :(

Most of the monoblocks these days advertise as 1 ohm because most people are opting for dvc subwoofers for its wiring flexability and are wiring them to 1 ohm for minimal resistance so its hard to find a 2 ohm stable amp at a high rms rating but most off the 1 ohm stable amps can run 2 ohms at quite a high rms rating. For example the starsound raptor series 1000 Watt rms 1 ohm stable monoblock can run 2 ohms at 800 rms if i remember correctly. This amp is quite reasonable as well at around 1500 rand at autostyle. I havnt used it myself but ive heard it in a friends car and it bangs hard for a average day to day setup.
