Hi Guys, my passenger seat is jammed or stuck wont lift up, cable does not seem to be snapped not sure what went wrong. I've stopped at a few upholstery shops, everyone said they'll have to remove the seat and strip but they have no experience with that particular seat, I didn't think is such a big deal.

I'd rather take it to someone who has a better idea of how the seat latches etc than a "let me take a look and see" type of guy, any recommendations?

Else I might as well give it a crack myself.

Lester

Same story with the Coupes. The cable usually pops off one of the pulleys. Unfortunately, you WILL have to remove the upholstery to get to it. BTW if it turns out the cable has snapped, you can fix it by crimping it. The cable is k@k expensive, but a simple crimp will do the trick. Easiest thing is to remove the seat from the car first so you have lots of elbow room to work in. It's about a half day's job. You'll also need one of those upholstery clip tools to replace all the clips you removed. Or you can use a pair of pliers if you're brave.
