Nothing is locking, not the boot or the petrol cap I must get your address, free fuel! mmmm, running out of options - take the central locking control box out + check if it hasn't shorted out.

http://www.opelownersforum.co.za/forum/viewtopic.php?t=28433&highlight=central+locking&sid=018d5b40c73945955a8ebd18337bec2csee you posted there already but I didn't help sorry try the selective locking box + the control box. Both are fu^&ing difficult to get at. The link is to the selective locking box. The control box is behind the dupec (alarm system) + fuel relay + , behind the soundproofing foam( you need to break through it). Start early you are going to get very frustrated.

I just took out my drivers side actuator and the top part is moving up & down freely when I shake it. I dunno if its supposed to do that. Heres a picture of what I'm talking about: This is what the motor looks like. ...and from the side This is what it looks like closed: ...this is what it looks like when pulled up: Is this what its supposed to look like? Is there any way I can test the motor to see if it works?

if there are 2 "prongs" sticking out @ the bottom then take some flex and connect 2 the negative of the battery ....then with the other wire connect very quickly to the + of the battery and check what it does .....its what i would do

I just came from a local Opel spares shop and they removed a actuator from one of the breaking up cars and that one does exactly the same. The top part moves freely. I couldnt connect that one to see what it does cause the connector at the bottom is round and not 'squared'

Hey guys. I deal wth ths isue alot caus ima sparky by trade. Ok u got to options..firstly the fuse 4 the central locking does not sit inda fuse box,wel it does bt if they fitd a auto watch they using an external central control box,its yelow wth blue, green, wite, and brown wirer cuming frm it. Ths wil hav a seperate fuse link wth a fuse holder, that is under ur dash just layng there near the alarm box. Replace that fuse and it sould b fine. Secondly if it makes a sound by the dor its probably geting power wich rules out the above fuse thoery. U'l notice that ur drivers dor pump has m0r wires than the otha dors, caus it sends a signal2the above mentiond box, then ul hav2 replace da pump. Just drive wthout the dor panel 2 a alarm place and plug in a new pump suma outside da do wthout screwng it 2da dor and c if it wrks,if it does..wel..BUYIT!

Thing it it used to make a sound but now its not doing anything. I've ruled out the pump because I plugged it into my wifes car and it worked perfectly. Looks like I'm gonna have to look for that other fuse. Thanks for the advice Wayno

I tried finding that fuse but came up empty. Looks like I'm gonna have to take it to a sparky.

I fully agree! ...and now my remote central locking doesn't work at all anybody know where the receiver unit for the remote itself sits in a Corsa? Central locking works fine and so do the lights on the remote
