My seats rails are worn (the slots where is moves back and forth in), one of the owners who had the car before me was either a big guy(or girl) or was having lots of sexy times on the front seat.

How would I fix this?

The only way I can think of is to dissemble and squash the rails closer together again. This however won't be a permanent solution, with pulling away etc it will simply start bending open again.

Any long term ideas?

it has about 2-3mm of play
