So I always wanted to my ldash ect. in red since I painted the dash silver.. I've already posted about the paint that got of and the carbon fibre i want to put on.. or maybe gloss black.. So while at it I bought 7 red LEDs and Resistors to start testing the colours.. well I figured out that I need maybe another 10 inside the heater/AC piece alone.

But had nice white SMD LEDs.. those round ones... so decided to put them in the clock display at the top and mix the other three with the red ones just to see how it looks... and viola.. Now must decide if I must go all red or all white.. but gonna leave it like this for this month.. need to sort out my shocks.. also leaving the dash sanded down for now..

Heres the lights tested on a 9v battery.. not installed yet.. its just an idea of where i need more light.. clearly the no.1 and 3 need their own led's.. I thought the white and red would make pink.. but im kinda glad it didnt..

Heres the lights with the cover of.. Those white ones are too sharp look at.. I really want red SMD LEDs.. but theyre hard too find..

Here you can see what mess all the wiring is.. Remember im a architect... not a electrical engineer

Heres the clock display.. took the pic this morning in dayight. excuse the carbon fibre.. I bought a small piece just to test and see if I can do it.. but damn the front corners suck.. the top and back looked okay.. But what a struggle the dash would be so I figure F### that... Called a place that do real carbon fibre wrapping.. (the real deal.. R1200 just for the clock and center console... So thats why I think I might just spray it again.. any advice?

There's a place in Motague Gardens that specificaly does paint. Paint Warehouse or something. A good plastic primer may be needed. Or you could simply get a dye. There are dyes you get to colour vinyl materials.

So A few weeks back I finally resprayed the dash gloss black and heres a pic of the white lights and the black dash.. Nothing spectacular. It just looks like a standard corsa dash thats cleaned and syliconed with white lights.. Got about 4x layers primer (sanded inbetween), 8 very light layers black gloss and about 5 layers clear coat.. took me a week so primer paint and laquer had more than 24h to completely dry.

Now gonna do my suspension either saturday or next week :duim:

Sorry for the crap quality pic. (4y old KS360)
