For those of you who are still using Vista

.. Win8 is out for free in beta testing (or Dev testing).
I downloaded it, installed it and
Vwala.
Its a interesting new design, looks like windows phone 7. The start menu is now full screen, with tiles not icons, the same is their mobile OS. The whole idea of using Apps more is great, they are lighter on system memory and better for multitasking. Like on Android, apps are quickly minimised and syspended in the memory. Programs are treated the same meaning multi-window hungry users like me can go bos!
I did find it a little slow (or slower than win7) with mulitple processes and windows open on 2 screens, but then perhaps my 3 yr old system is a little old. Overclockers may notice tho.
Of course this is just a dev release to build up the app market. Full release should be more stable.
What you guys think?
