2litre 16v turbo project.

Howsit guys. Abit late but i always struggle to get pics uploaded so will try again.
Was looking for a 2door for awhile now,but they ones i went to see was all torn (at the usually t-car place on the fire wall). i didnt car if it had light accident damage,just not torn,as i have a place that can straighten a chassis or whatever,many say buy a corsa but i am inlove with the 2door t car shape.
Found this car in a very bad condition,messed up interior,different seats,paint work looks like its been done with a brush,millions of wires,dash parts missing,cuby gone,lights not working ect ect,but as i was looking for a project and this thing wasnt torn i am willing to put in the time.
First thing i did was get it driving as it had gearbox issues and all the flywheel bolts also broke off .
All the work from motor to paint to piping to interior to wiring will be done by myself.

Home made bracket. Just to not put somuch weight on the inductions rubber

didnt come with a filter so fitted a new k&n and induction pipe to the turbo

Since im doing everything alone i had to make a see sow to lift my new gearbox in lol,used the old box and rims to lift the new box.

I dont know what they attempted with all those wires,but i removed alot and cleaned up,also sprayed the engine black and silver because it was blady blue. i know this motor wont be staying in the car but its to be mobile while i do the body and interior.

removed the broken bumper and body filler bonnet and fitted a bumper i had with supie style vents. also got 2 fenders

The above post pics must be viewed from the bottom up to see the progress in order,i loaded it wrong sorry.

Because of work and only getting home at 10pm progress will be cut to weekend,but im not in a hurry,enjoying it. That was 4 days work above.
Also due to fines from previous owners and licence being behind 2013, i first have to pay for all that and get it on my name before i go at it 100%. But for now im driving it everyday just in the area and enjoying the little 8v turbo motor.

Also When i take holiday to prep the body i need to take votes on either making the car black or white. No i dont want to make it any other colour.

Small but irratating update. Before i start with the body and insides i need to get the car on my name,but the guys who owned the car before me didnt do the change of ownership,so tracked down the original owner and told him i will take it off his name and pay the licence money thats behind. He was happy about that because he has been getting fines. He is abit busy now to do the transfer and stuff so now i must wait.. also he tracked down all the guys that got fines on the car and there are a few warrants out except one guy because i kind of know him and asked if he will pay it before they give his name also in. He said he will see so i will wait,if not im not going to beg.
So things are at a standstill..
