Hi Guys,

I'm starting a project on my 2010 Corsa Utility. Plan is to do a 2L 16V Ecotec conversion and then some interior and exterior modifications.

For Fase 1:
X20XEV Engine
F18 Gearbox
Perfect Power Management System
Branch and exhaust (63mm)
276 cams
350cc Injectors
Vernier Cam Pulleys
Ported and Gas Flowed Cylinder Head
40 mm Lowering Kit (Possibly Koni)

Will upload some photos and keep you posted. :D

@Corsa Addict: No only 52000 on the clock now. still very good runner.
@Diablo69: Probably yes butdoing some research on that still for the best option. What do you suggest?

You mean manufacturers warranty?

He won't have it anymore if the std motor is removed

That's what I was trying to establish

I don't have the warrenty anymore because I don't take the bakkie to GM for a service and i fitted a Cone Filter as well. Don't know if i still have it but when I asked them they said it will fall away when doing the above mentioned.

Oh ok, cone filter: you could have removed it when taking the Ute in for a service by the agents but yes, I think your manufacturers warranty does fall away when you have it serviced by a place other than the agents.

Anyways, good luck again on your project :duim:

Lol i did take it off but after the first service i decided they are way over charged so i decided to get it serviced by a friend who can still stamp my service manual for much cheaper. They wanted to charge me R3000 for my second service and i got away with less than R1500 service and parts all included. :D

lol i did the same thing the day after i got my UTE ( i dont know why i even chose to pay R5000 extra for a extended warrenty as well) the first thing the dealer told me was, dont put on a cone filter or any performance parts because my warrenty will be useless then, but ja 24 hours later it was too late lol

Got my engine yesterday. Settle for the 1.8 16v Ecotec because the 2L one's were not in a very good condition. Now to save up some money for the management system. :whoop:
