Nah leave ma...the bra is stressed out already as things stand.
I will just continue to wait...only bad thing is that petrol price is going up again and i didnt even get to drive my car.

Car was standing in June and petrol reached just over R10/l last year...its much cheaper now atm.

Quick update...
Finally stripped all 24 lifters. Not as easy as the old 20xe lifter cause these ones have very small pistons. Now all are cleaned and ready for the solid lifter inserts. Finished one lifter to the clearances I want so I have a guideline for the rest. Finished assembled on head so the task for tonight is to complete that head with solid lifters. I'll do the other one tomorrow night then they'll be ready to be fitted to the block.

When I started stripping these lifter it took me 15-20mins per lifter. Did 3 before I came to the conclusion that at that pace, it was gonna take me forever to get done so I stopped and contemplated what needed to be done. A 15min time out resulted in a brain wave and no I have a method to take them apart. It now takes 15-20sec to strip each lifter.
