Quick update.
Stripped the motor over the weekend. Going to the engineers today for the block to be bored. 3 weeks and counting for this projects completion.

Had some time on my hand today so I thought i'd go make a turn at the spares to see if I can find a high compression alternative t the x16xe piston and this is the result. x16xe on the left, high compression piston on the right

f10 5 speed? wouldnt a f13c 5 speed box handle the power this baby will make better?

It's got an f13c at the moment and will probably stick with it cause the flywheel is very light and it will better suit the powerband. Remember, this motor will probably make peak power at around 7800rpm.

Ya, with these small cc engines, you have to rev the crap out of it to make power. It can't generate enough air speed at low revs.
