Thanx guys. Will be getting eagle steel rids end of month but will be getting the 16v pistons in the mean time and other odds and ends

So the whole rebuild will not be taking place as the ute was knocked and ill need to fix that#sadness..
But ill still be continueing with the normal conversion..
Have the normal pistons in but was thinking of fitting 16V pistons..how much of extra power or difference will it make compared to the seh pistons?

I was going to go the 16V piston route, but then got too much conflicting information. Some said the compression would become to high, others said it wont. I didn't have the cash at the time to have it not work, so left it with the std stuff.

Hey guys..I want to know what other quality oil pump I can buy as my original one cant be used again or serviced..reeds charges R2500 ex vat and I cant afford to pay that much now

You can try Masterparts. But they quoted me R2600 for the Z18XE oil pump. Reason why I say try them is cause they sell the same oil pump as Reeds

Skaddek is apparently the one you want to get.
I got mine at masterparts, I think it was around R1000.... too long ago to remember.
MAKE SURE YOU GET THE CORRECT MODEL! I had my motor assembled by the time I realized I was supplied the incorrect pump. Take a sample
