To find this car was mission - service books , owners manuals. warranty etc where all in place...It needed work but I was convinced I could do so - I started it myself- a one man effort with no help!
The best part of sale was that when we sent it to for police clearance I managed to find first owner details...He and i hooked up and he shared the first pics of the car as it left the floor in 1991...Three months later here we are....I am third owner - second owner owned for so litlle time its neglegible...but this car was filthy when i got it...i found beer can & sealed beers ,...about 500 pages of dirt ....it shows in the paper...
I m not going to talk about money cos its scary....but im loving this project ! A full 16vs restore!

Seems like it's coming along nicely. Did you spray over the glue residue when u stripped the carpet ?

we cleaned out the glue ...used thinners and paint stripper...nothing like Durams paint stripper...
...i removed the handbrake cover..
The right rear was done at the stop it has a small rust bubble---about 10c size...had to send the car to a proper paint shop to get done...whilst there we checked the chasis and re0 aligned the rear suspension...
This weekend we carpeted the rear arch in the boot...damn...it was not easy.... but it looks good,,,this weekend we complete the interioir and next start with mechnicals....
The best news was from the factory last week...chasis number is genuine superboss...too many fakes and built ups around...and cars with transfrered chasis plates...but mine is in the process of being authenitcated by GM so we can get restoration insurnace value..
...will post some new later in the week...
