for 30k that looks like a nice project to take over. most of the goodies are already there.

but what happened to the interior?

I still have all the interior except the floor carpet and the 2 front seats. The seats were stuffed so I gave them away. The back seats and all the panels are still in my garage.

The nice thing with this project is that the 2L block is already registered to the car.

If it were an Mx5 we would have had a deal haha I like those.

Theres so many spares I would let go with it, cranks and flywheels, complete ecotec head, branch, the grille and lip for the bumper, 2L brakes, cant even remember what else is lying around.

30K is a bargain

I'm waiting on a guy to let me know if he has front seats for me, will get the set if he does as corsa seats are quite hard to come by.

If I do finish the project I'll probably fit a set of 15" borbet wheels, msx management, c20xe with 276 cams, OPC injectors, walbro pump, hi comp pistons, lightened crank and flywheel and custom intake manifold with throttles, f18 short box, corsa diesel radiator, 57mm or 63mm full exhaust, and then run a map for pump fuel and another for avgas.

I was going to build a hi comp motor same as pantera's but dont have the cash for that now, so will just build this so long and see how it goes.

So decided to get moving with this corsa project, I've had it for over a year now and it had come to a halt for way too long.

Sprayed all the interior panels, got material to cover the roof lining and door panels, sprayed some engine bits. Last night I worked on the motor and I think this weekend I'll get stuck into putting the interior back and probably fit the coilovers.







Getting there slowly, going for a Black & White theme.

If ANYONE knows of 2 front seats for a corsa for sale, please let me know!

So its been awhile since I updated as I've had no time to work on the car and am really thinking of selling.

I ended up selling all my XE parts as I wanted to rather go ecotec turbo, but now I'm thinking of just putting the stock X20XEV back in just to get it mobile.

If I do sell then this is whats included:

Corsa body freshly sprayed white, new windscreen, new bootlid, new headlights, new tail lights, new front valance, new front bumper with lip and fogs (pre facelift), strengthened front end.
Brand new Vmaxx coilovers
X20XEV motor with F18 gearbox - Motor not built yet but includes new Mahle rings, new bearings(main and big end), block and crank been engineered, both still on standard. Top gasket set, bottom gasket set, new waterpump, new cambelt, new head bolts, new tps, new coilpack, + more.
Gotech Pro V7 management, wired up but includes extra corsa loom.
200is brake callipers
new 200is hubs with new FAG bearings
new balljoints and tie rod ends
roof lining just been redone
2004 corsa lite front seats
15" tsw mags with tyres
motor licensed with the car, license up to date, just needs roadworthy once its running
Plus any other spares I have will go with the car.

Looking for R35 000 not neg. Not putting it in the for sale section just yet, still on the fence.

New owner would just need to build the motor, drop it in, fit all the new suspension parts and finish a few odds and ends, but all parts are there to have a complete 16v corsa.

I just dont have the time anymore and its taking up too much space in my garage. Also I wont go less than 35k as I'm barely breaking even if I sell for that amount.

Let me know what you guys think, should I put it on gumtree or am I going to get a lot of time wasters?

Yeah he sprayed it for me, he also did my astra wheels. He did a pretty good job considering it looked like an abortion before lol He also said I must bring it back once its running so he can just go over anything that isn't perfect.
