@Corsa Addict: No only 52000 on the clock now. still very good runner. @Diablo69: Probably yes butdoing some research on that still for the best option. What do you suggest?

What do you suggest? dont you still have a motor plan? You mean manufacturers warranty? He won't have it anymore if the std motor is removed That's what I was trying to establish

I don't have the warrenty anymore because I don't take the bakkie to GM for a service and i fitted a Cone Filter as well. Don't know if i still have it but when I asked them they said it will fall away when doing the above mentioned.

Oh ok, cone filter: you could have removed it when taking the Ute in for a service by the agents but yes, I think your manufacturers warranty does fall away when you have it serviced by a place other than the agents. Anyways, good luck again on your project

Lol i did take it off but after the first service i decided they are way over charged so i decided to get it serviced by a friend who can still stamp my service manual for much cheaper. They wanted to charge me R3000 for my second service and i got away with less than R1500 service and parts all included.

Got my engine yesterday. Settle for the 1.8 16v Ecotec because the 2L one's were not in a very good condition. Now to save up some money for the management system.
