Oops,forgot to update here lol.

So i wanted a 70mm exhaust.(because people said i shouldnt) ..not 63..not 76.. 70..,,problem is no one has flanges and flexis and everything else cause who does 70mm exhaust..

Anyways so i thought i did the motor..interior,spray job, suspension, boost pipes lets try an do a 70mm downpipe and exhaust.. :/

Found 70mm dairy off cuts, and since t-cars dont have much bends i went with "pie bends",and mandrel bends for the downpipe.

Also said i must not use an arch welder...so i did..(i like to find out why not)

I can only work on the car lunchtimes so i weld one piece aday if even. So its lay underneath...tack..remove..mark with tipex,cut..lay...tack..remove...weld...repeat 500times till u get the correct bend and curves. Lol atleast IF this works and someone says "listen to my cool new exhaust its better than urs" i can go.."nice..but did u build it?" lol

Fitted the exhaust,no knocking anywhere and yoh what a difference breathing makes on a turbo car! Next step wire in my dictator and launch control which i already have but just tooo busy. Going to miss the gotech though, good system that, easy cold starts.

Bought myself a garret t3/t4 like year ago, this is how i made it fit.basically

Bought my bends at mac steel, stainless, made a gig, used masking tape to mock up the design i wanted, tacked the gig, then took it to carl at cas to have everything welded up.

Built a new downpipe at home ..70mm

Fitted a new LARGER radiator,HAD to do bonnet vents because of heat damming, went through 2 different designs, last single vent works best.,still have my solid bonnet for winter.

Been like this for a year now, only thing i didnt do myself was tune, gochandcooper did an amazing job,we race every Tuesday and Thursdays(weather permitting) for a year now with this setup still going great.
