A while ago we rebuilt this engine for turbo application using shortened rods and 2.2mm MLS gasket. The time has come to fit the turbo and toss the xe head for an Ecotec one. Reason being that the xe head has been skimmed way to much and the eco head is much cheaper to repair if there’s any problem. Started by taking off the xe head. Attachment:

Oil pump needs to change to the later model c20xe/let/xev one because the old xe pump doesn't have the facility for the cam tensioner. Attachment:

Stock xev cams. They 251 if i'm not mistaken. Perfect for turbo application.

Why do you want an xe head anyway. Let me guess, someone told you it's better than the ecotec head.
