A while ago we rebuilt this engine for turbo application using shortened rods and 2.2mm MLS gasket. The time has come to fit the turbo and toss the xe head for an Ecotec one. Reason being that the xe head has been skimmed way to much and the eco head is much cheaper to repair if there’s any problem.

Started by taking off the xe head.

Why do you want an xe head anyway. Let me guess, someone told you it's better than the ecotec head.
