Opel Club Cape Town

Ok so the time has come for a much needed respray of my car.
I'm totally new at this and i so far only got a 47 lt Compressor with a spray kit that came with the compressor from my dad.
is that spray gun ok that came with the compr.?

Can anybody tell me where i can buy the paint equipment( ie. the primer, paint)?am i missing anything?

Also what grit sandpaper will i need for the prepping process?

Of what i read so far is prepping very important and hard work and i dont mind taking my time with it. i wil have the whole of next month to do it and half of Jan

I will be sanding down the whole car to get the right finish and then spraying it white.
I would prefer to have it the original white but my colours are all faded so i cant take it somewhere to have it mixed accordingly.
Can it be done with the paint code on the VIN plate?

check on the vin tag it will give a paint code
then take it to any paint place and tell them that the code on the vin tag

they will match it up

the one guy on another forum said that if i stuff it up, i can always sand it down and start over lmao

started sanding the bumper...looks baie k@k now
guy who had the car before me fibreglassed the lower scoop to the bumper

can anybody recommend where i can buy the paint and primer stuff please
oh and im looking for a driver side fender aswell...i dnt mind the colour as i will be respraying but no dents please

i know a guy bro....he gave me 4ltrs base coat- 5 litrs thinners, 2lts hardner, 2lts clear, 4lts ms primer and 1ltr plastic primer for R1000...so lemme know if I must hook u up...my number 073 592 9715..but im looking for someone to do the job
