If your japanese car is going to vriet 250ml of oil every 1000km, it might as well be a Subaru.

this just reminds me of something pantera said about driving in. basically new cars are not driven in properly and this causes the oil usage.

have they checked the rings?

Nope they haven't checked anything. According to them, I was driving on the wrong software and had to install the correct one.
The specialist informed the dealership, that they should educate me... :LaughOUTLoud:
Car is smoking now and leaves a huge cloud of smoke behind

Latex :SmokingJoint: :HellNo:

The wonders of Hello Peter and the word "Obudsman" and immediately they working on resolving the problem.
Corporate company's think they are untouchable for a small consumer.

Just waiting on them to give feedback.

When you say things in the line of 'Ombudsman' or the like, the matter is automatically escalated. The people who it's escalated to generally "don't have time" for "small things" and then very clearly instruct the employees they manage to sort it out "or else".

I had a similar experience with KTM Cape Town. Went to the dealer principle who kept refusing to give me a meeting date so I can discuss my problems with their service with him. This went on for two weeks. So I spoke to the GM of KTM SA who had me in the meeting room with the dealer principle that same afternoon (2 hours after contacting the GM on a Friday afternoon).

As soon as they realize you're not going to take their sh*t, they suddenly have thermite shot up their crack and things happen at light speed with a smile and some coffee in your hand.
