Car weighs the same as my TS. Plus it has LSD split diff and best of all, It was given to me. Car has 135000km's on the clock so the engine is still Very good. Car has been standing for the past 7 years so theres a few things that need attention. Other than that, No rust, new pray job and a very clean engine. Can't ask for more than that.

i am soooooooo jealous congrats man , i had the GSI V6, man what an awesome car my second fav car right after the calibra, i most def want to own one of these someday again that car feels like it ignores gravity and air resistance (under 200km/h that is) share your plans with it mmmmmm GM 3800i Bigblock 90° V6 8.5 : 1 compression 290nm @ 3200rpm 130km @ 4800rpm rev limiter - 5200rpm 180km/h in 5'th just shy of 3300rpm with the most beautiful note (sounds like a V8 when gunning it) *drooooooooooooooooooooooool*

Is this the original specs of the engine. I'm actually looking for more info on it. If it's genuinly 8.5:1 cr then the car is gonna get a big blower. Plan was to start work on the car in the next 8 months. Fit single T70 turbo. At low boost should get 250kw +-. Good for low 13 on street tyres. One i've done that, play a bit more with the boost till I find this motors limit. Should be interesting.

the motors suppose to be supercharged, though we got it without the supercharger, hence 8.5 : 1 compression
typical GM SA

Actually, the lsd will make it an ideal candidate for drifting. Just need to increase the power to weight ratio to allow you to do so.

The turbo setup I have planned is rated at 700bhp@1.5bar boost and 590bhp@1bar. I'll be happy if the motor can hold 1bar.
