For once GM wasn't that expensive sort of.
Brother had a accident with his car on friday with his car coming around a bend at 60km-80km and started to rattle then he hit the brakes and the back brakes locked and the car swinged in to curb damaging both his right hand side wheels beyond repair, in right front control arm, engine mounting and the complete rear axle.

We thought the rear axle from a scrap would cost about 3 to 5k. We only have 1 scrap yard in upington and there wasn't a corsa b in sight. So went to GM to ask if they have any and price.
To his amazement the price of a rear axle plus courier and extra charges it would have been R1900 and would only arive on monday in upt but my brother copied the part number while he was talking to the guy so that he could order it through another place by gm for cheaper and got it for R1800 by GM and so that it arrived here the next day(saturday).

But I think R1900 is still cheap from GM for a rear axle?
