Seems autostyle has a knack of sending you totally different products than what you ordered.

The first time i ordered a dropkit and they sent me a totally different kit than what i ordered without even notifying me about the change.

Now the second time i ordered a hi/low converter from them and they sent me a totally different product again without any notification.

Is this normal practice for them or what?
Very dissapointed, Best to go somewhere else before you find yourself buying a toaster and getting a microwave

Strange - def not normal practice

I've ordered lamin-x from them (more than once), a set of Corsa C angel eyes for Jose' and a few other stuff over the years

I've received the correct stuff every time & on time as well

Phone/mail them & complain

I ordered a set of chrome letters and they sent me the wrong font, but I ended up liking the ones I got so I didn't care too much. Another time I ordered a set of [GSI] stepsils and got [Corsa] stepsils (just the wording was different). The problem is apparently only when you order stuff that isn't specific to a certain car, e.g. detailing products or universal accessories. Although it's debatable whether lowering kits are "universal".

Never had a problem.

Bought lots of things from them.

Either I get it on time, or they notify me that they do not have the product but can supply something else. Once I even got something better than I ordered for the same price.

That's how its suppose to be but they never notify me of product changes or that they don't have stock
They just send me the wrong stuff

I think you just fell victim to a lazy shipping clerk

It's not illegal man. They will just say they made a mistake

Insist that they ship it from the DBN branch. Normally, they ship from the JHB branch

LOL this is so funny because I actually bought Lord Of The Rings: The Battle For Middle Earth from BT Games and they put Lord Of The Rings: The War In The North in the case.

same thing happened to my brother a few years ago. bought one of their combo's but the amp was out of stock. was replaced with a better amp. they called him and notified him before hand, asked if he wants to cancel order and waited for his approval.

So...Tilly from autostyle called me
Great bra, explained to me what happened,he tried to get me the item i ordered but no luck
He even went as far as to explain the differences in the 2 products
I told him its all good, all i wanted was customer service,a call or email to explain whats going on
He will even send me a gift for all the troubles :2thumbsup:

He told me its best to email him directly at despatch@autostyle.co.za for info and you can even order straight from him

Great Customer service from him

So "Faith in Autostyle restored" :winkithumbs:
