i get them from playing basketball, its extremely painful and should be resting but i always end up practicing and playing a match even if i have to walk up and down the court lol

Dont think I ever got shin splints, but i got blue shins from kickboxing conditioning hahaha. One kicks with the shin, other on blocks with his, wearing shin guards of course. Still hurts as hell. Check Tong Po in Kickboxer movie kicking that pillar with his shin hahah, crazy sh1t. Oh, atm im healing from arthroscopic surgery to my left knee. I tore a piece of my inside meniscus during grappling training. Which happend in January already. Surgery took place about 3 weeks ago. During the surgery It was cut off, its like cartilage so it doesnt grow back. 5 more weeks then I can start fighting again after 7 months

broken 5 fingers
wrist
big toe
nose a few times
then also damaged/torn ligaments in:
ankle(snap)
shoulder(damaged)
hamstring(damaged)
damaged the muscles inbetween my ribs
hip flexor
and a few others that i cant remember/dont remember

Broken cartlidge in my knee. never had it removed, but doesn't seem to be as bad anymore.
Other than that, no real injuries, besides the shin splints and pulled a hamstring afew times, but thats about it.

I got knocked over by a car 3times and fell off a trucks flat bed twice lol,just got blue marks,fractured elbows and a sore back.
O wait sports injuries... Umm..got stung by a bee twice while playing basketball for wingfield,and got hit in the eye with the ball playing a squash tournament,and still won! Ok im done bye.

Shin splints are no joke (speaking from experience). If you do not take care of shin splints it can be damaging in the long run. Rest is the best (oops for the rhyming) and try not putting too much pressure on the leg and if you a person that likes to accelerate hard and punch that clutch hard, then it's best not to do that either. Also comfortable shoes are also advisable.
