JOHANNESBURG, South Africa - The BMW Car Club Gauteng club racing Series claims to be the most exciting grassroots competition in South Africa. Now in its third year, the series has benefited from exponential growth and increasing attention from the Motorsport fraternity.

MSA Super Series, South Africa’s only National motorsport tour, has invited the club back to fill a spot left vacant by the two motorcycle categories. The BMW series impressed at its first Super Series invitational at Phakisa and is determined to raise the bar even higher.

BMW CCG Club Racing Series Steward Michael Broom says: “To be invited to join the national tour once is an honour. To be invited back again in the same year is a compliment to our series of the highest order. We will be keen to demonstrate the successful formula of friendly but fierce competition.

"There is a real family feeling in our series, in stark contrast to what is the norm in local Motorsport. Kyalami is in many ways our home track so we expect huge support from our club members and fans.”

MSA Super Series Manager Ken Rolfe said: “MSA Super Series is delighted to have the club series back by invitation on November 2 at Kyalami. Their previous invitation at Phakisa Freeway Welkom showed their enthusiasm for motorsport and the keen and willing growth of a club series that is going from strength to strength.

"MSA likes to encourage and promote clubracing that show this and looks forward to a great day’s entertainment and close racing."
