I agree with DJ7. Loving Opel doesn't mean disliking other car brands. Just speaking in general now. You get arrogant Opel drivers as well, boastful one's too. Every stable has their share of them.

It's your money, you earned it so you should spend it how you see fit

Regarding the dyno day: 3 Honda's took the top 3 spots in the N/A 2lt class. He made the power figures fair & square so he deserves it, doesn't matter how much he spent / where he spent it, etc etc..Opel lost that class, finish & klaar.

One shouldn't adopt that mindset

It's true what Lu says, I was at that particular dyno when average was used and people did complain.

I guess, we must start having 2 dyno days a year, 1 for kw and 1 for nm. :kallit:

There was actually more than 1 dyno day I've been too, where they did it this way & where I've seen people complaining

Yep, I'm actually thinking about having another one later in the year

250k, if its your own money... i see nothing wrong.

i know people who mod their cars with loans and credit cards.... you do what you love, so?

when i was still playing provincial sport i was letting go of close to R20k a year in total. it sucks but if you love what you do... so?

Dont you have a switch? I dont have a traction control switch, but my car has been on GnC's dyno about 3 times already. It just takes time to locate the correct fuse and remove it. They probably didnt wanna hold the other cars up.

You cannot add the cars value and call the total sum of the car and the mods, what he spent on mods. It doesn't make sense. If you had the money to buy and mod an expensive car, would you?

I would buy a Lumina and mod it, if I could afford to, would I then too be wasting my money?

I was also suprised, like I told you on the day, I know there is a fuse that needs to be removed. If anyone has a Astra G manual, then please check which fuse it is, then we know for future which fuse's to remove, this way we will avoid having anyone being dissappointed and also will help G&C.

if i had known you had issues i woulda done it for you.

quickest way is to unplug AFM and plug it back in again. but its not recomended :)

then the other wasy is the fuse, pull it out :)

why not relay the fuse one time and make a switch?

your abs and t/c go off.

If you spend 2k or 250k on modding your car why must everyone make a fuss about it. I mean its your money and you can do with it as you please.

At the end of the day its for the love of the game or should I rather say modifying/racing scene.

So well done to all those who won their respective classes at the dyno day!
