THIS PROTEST RIDE IS FOR ALL TYPE OF VEHICLES, I.E. SCOOTERS, BIKES, CARS, BAKKIES, ETC!!!

Time: 09h00 to leave at 10h00

Route: Starlite Diner, right into Durban Road, right onto N1, left onto M5, right onto N2 into Nelson Mandela Boulevard, left into Newmarket Street (Strand Street), left into Adderley Street, right into Wale Street to the Western Cape Provincial Government Buildings where a memorandum will be handed over to the Minister of Transport, Mr Donald Grant on the steps of the building.

Thereafter we disperse and you can seek your own refreshments!!!

PLEASE PEEPS, MAKE SLOGANS AND/OR FLAGS AND/OR BANNERS FOR YOUR VEHICLES!!!!! THIS IS YOUR CHANCE TO BE NOTICED!!!!

This is a peaceful protest and all rules of the road will be adhered to, no hooligan attitudes or actions will be allowed.

I understand your point DJ. But doing nothing won't change anything either

But protesting would only be a waste of time and energy, which could have been used constructively in another manner.

This isn't a discussion I'm trying to get into buddy. But I fully understand what you are saying and to an extent I agree.

But I can't just assume the mindset that it's a waste of time and energy. So I'll be joining this protest ride. And if it doesn't return results, then at least I didn't sleep away my Sunday morning, and I got to join a hundred or so bikes in a fat convoy (pun intended ) and got to go on a little Sunday morning cruise.
