Draw and distribute payslips as required
Obtain IRP5’s on request

Consult with employees on structuring of their packages
Complete the qualifications section of the job card received from recruiting
Ensure all information is obtained from employees e.g. qualifications
Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring all required documentation is available
Assist with issuing documents to temp staff
Benefits AdministrationRespond to queries on all benefit related issues. This will frequently involve interaction with third party providers such as SAP, medical aid, SRFA etc in order to resolve
Ensure that all benefit amendments are implemented on payroll
Drive annual events such as medical aid option changes and payroll flexing
Medical Aid
Assist with medical aid applications and queries
Retirement/Provident Fund
Ensure members receive communication from the Trustees of the Funds
Ensure transfer/encashment of funds
Company Car Scheme
Assist employees with all forms i.r.o car financing, insurance etc
Relocation
Process relocation payments via SAP and Finance
Maintain records of all relocation amounts paid to staff members
HR Administration
Induction
SAP presentations at on boarding sessions for new employees
SAP
Send medical certificates to SAP and follow up with employee to ensure sick leave is captured onto SAP
Assist staff members who do not have access to SAP
Occupational Health & Safety
Administer & investigate COIDA incidents and submission to Sanlam (Scott-Safe).
Demographics
Responsible for accurate and timeous reporting submissions for various committee/meetings, and ad-hoc reports as requested
Duties include extracting data from SAP and compiling reports, data trends and analysis. Assists with HR information in such a way that reporting is updated and correct
General
Assist with ad-hoc projects for the HR team, as required. This includes providing assistance to HRC’s and recruiting with queries
Issue visa and confirmation of employment letters
Distribute correspondence to employees when required
Distribute faxes received in the HR Fax inbox to HR team
Minimum Requirements
Matric
Relevant tertiary qualification (advantageous, but not essential)
Technical Competencies:
4 – 6 years payroll experience
Advanced excel skills
Knowledge of SAP (advantageous, but not essential)
Computer literate with proven proficiency in MS Word
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
