Position Description
Key Responsibilities
Personal Assistant duties for the SI Head of Marketing and SI Head: Strategic Projects
•Support to Head: Strategic Projects includes:
◦diary and event co-ordination of projects and initiatives driven from Cluster CEO's office.
◦Ensuring that communication to key stakeholders occurs timeously given SI EXCO and Board meetings
◦Diary management taking into account who the stakeholders are, the Sanlam Group and Investments key requirements and the in-office time of Head: Strategic Projects
•Team Secretary duties for the Marketing team (e.g. travel arrangements, meeting coordination, office management responsibilities, etc.)
•Planning and maintenance of a range of corporate gifts and branded items/clothing
•Ensuring that invoices are processed timeously
•Assist with administration and logistics at events run by the marketing department
Minimum Requirements
•Minimum of 5 year’s experience as a Personal Assistant
•Matric
•Event coordination experience would be an advantage
Competencies
Technical Competencies:
•Computer literate in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
•Understanding and knowledge of asset management industry would be advantageous
Behavioral Competencies:
•Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
•Ability to be an effective team player and proactive individual
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English / Afrikaans)
•Demonstrated commitment to maintaining the highest standards
•Attention to detail
