Capitec is looking for people with those skills. Interested people should keep in mind that the head office is in stellenbosch, so would mean you are based there.

Banks run lots of stuff on COBOL for some or other reason. Maybe because the risk of updating those things outweighs the benefits. At any rate, you can make lekka money as a COBOL developer. Plus, Capitec also does lots of .NET stuff too, so if you know that too you could be set for a long time.
