World Naked Bike Ride - 10 March

The Cape Town component of this event:

Join in on the nakedness in an attempt to take a stand against the dangers cyclists and pedestrians face on a daily basis from traffic. Bare your bums to oncoming cars in this gesture that is far more impacting than the conventional finger.

Dependence on renewable energy is detrimental to our environment so participants will be defying it in the way they see fit - as they came into the world in the first place. Cyclists are encouraged to customise their bikes and bodies, bring bells, vuvuzelas and whistles. This in-your-face event will be taking place on 10 March. Meet at 9:30 at Prestwich Memorial on the Fan Walk.
