any one know about this

http://www.astraownersclub.com/vb/showt ... p?t=144714

and whether this is available in SA?

its that "convertor" i was talking about but this one doesn't involve cutting wires and the Motorplan/warranty doesn't get affected?

if you're connecting your standard HU, you will need a Hi to Low RCA converter.
You connect it to the factory speaker wires and it will give you RCA outputs.
Sounds exactly the same as an aftermarket loader, no whining noises. Just make sure you get a decent converter.
I fitted a Rockford Fosgate converter in my GTC and didn't have any issues.
The stock HU doesn't have any fuses on the wiring, just 1 behind the loader.
