Remember that every owner values his car differently.
Also remember that mods actually decrease the value of the car and the only way to recoup some money spent, is by selling privately.

The car in question, if in good condition can be sold from anywhere between R35 - R50k if that is what you are looking for. :duim:

if the kms etc legit and in such nice condition as you say - then 40 aint bad - except if you buying it trying to make a buck by reselling soon - as you will not get more really soon outa that deal . . . . if u gonna try and sell it on at a profit - try and get it down to 35k . . .or who is paying for roadworthy and licensing ?

buying it to use as an everyday cab. not looking to make money from it. need a nyc run around. doesn't wanna drop his price. he wanted R50000 at first and had a nyc sound system which i asked him to remove thats when he dropped his price.

i prefer taking the car for COR myself so can c if anything needs to be done.

my 200is is the same. no 200is is the same alot of interior changes.

I paid for my car 40k two and half years ago with 189000km on the clock ..

atleast you have a Webasto sunroof tilt and slide electric such and mod will cost you R7k.

and alone on his suspension which is eibach tells you the man didnt go the cheap route.

so R40k is a great price .. but I'll bring him a small bit down but 40k is a good price.

Dude rather go for the 180is ecotec... you getting the same car for much cheaper and chances are that the 200is was driven harder than a 180is plus it's 16V.

They can say what they want to about the 8V (although it's damn reliable, well so are the 16v's) but that head is too retrictive and they all spent a sh!t load of cash to get it going... but that's just my view... I miss my 8v but I dont think I'll ever buy one again... :silent:
