So my brake master cylinder needs new seals so i had to take it all of and while i was busy i decided to sort out that very small but annoying leak on the radiator. so i stripped the radiator out and decided that it can wait one more day and i started neatening up the wiring. it looks 10x better. i have a few plans for the car but it all depends on finances... might be a nice big improvement. tomorrow ill put everything back after i have given the front end a nice clean and hopefully i will spray the radiator fan cowl(it looks like it was yellow and painted black and it is no black and yellow) black and if time allows ill be smoking my headlamps like avix. this is how the car looks now...  _________________ Current: 2003 Opel Astra GSi 1982 Volkswagen Golf MK1 GT - under construction Ex: 2000 Opel Corsa GSi (C20XE - 15.5s @ Tarlton) 2006 Chevrolet Aveo 1.5 LS (R.I.P written off  ) 1995 Opel Kadett 200t S(stock standard except lowering springs) - R.I.P 1997 Opel Corsa 130i E(viper branch & f/f,70/40 drop,derestricted airbox!) - sold 1989 Opel Kadett 160 GSE(stock standard) - sold

fanx man. wanna clean the front end and then reassemble. hope i can sort that radiator leak, its the pressure switch thats leaking.

almost forgot to post my next bit of diy...
went shopping and came home with...
2 X control arms
2 X top shock mounts
1 X pack of gear linkage bushes(poly)
then i lent a set of coil spring clamps and will be doing the work tomorrow.
will post pics if i get reminded. lol

so i finished the control arms and top shock mounts on saturday... i battled with the 1st side as i tried to clamp the spring then remove the shock, i ended up removing the complete shock and spring then clamped the spring and removed the shock mounts then put the new one. control arm was the easiest bit to change and they went well. next time ill be able to do it alot quicker. went for a test drive and the difference was like day and night. then today i changed my one gear link bush and went for wheel alignment... car is feeling very nice just need to sort out my springs and a brace on the bottom by the control arms then all should be cool. didnt get to take that many pics as my hands where dirty and i was in a bit of a hurry but anyway here you go... the parts and the spring clamps  car off the ground ready to start the work  i fitted new brake pads a lil while ago and a week after a car wash the rims are still quite clean compared to the old ones  the car minus a shock & control arm  next time ill take more pictures and post them. what you guys think? _________________ Current: 2003 Opel Astra GSi 1982 Volkswagen Golf MK1 GT - under construction Ex: 2000 Opel Corsa GSi (C20XE - 15.5s @ Tarlton) 2006 Chevrolet Aveo 1.5 LS (R.I.P written off ) 1995 Opel Kadett 200t S(stock standard except lowering springs) - R.I.P 1997 Opel Corsa 130i E(viper branch & f/f,70/40 drop,derestricted airbox!) - sold 1989 Opel Kadett 160 GSE(stock standard) - sold
