Yor Tanx crispy! just PM'd the guy now. Have to make sure that they will fit the z18xe first, cause the z18xe cams are different to the x18xe1 cams I heared.

How much power are you aiming for with this setup?

When fitting ITB's to the ecotec engines, you will need to seriously up the rev-limiter. You will only start making power higher up in the rev range since the ITB's needs greater air speed to operate optimally(I think I said that correct). Hence you will need to rev till about 8k - 8.5k. But then the next question will be : How will my bottom-end handle this? That is when you start looking at steel rods, for example, to help prevent things from braking at the bottom.

You just need to run longer ram tubes to bring the powerband down, but with 45's it will never make power to 8500rpm without wild cams.

Ohk here's an update.... I got 43's in the week, with a brand new set of dave ingle 80mm ram tubes. Thinking of getting those 278's that are for sale on the OOC forum. My limiter is currently factory set on 6.5k, wanted to move it to 7k, maybe 7.5k max, but it depends on the power band ofcourse.
So with 43's, 80mm tubes and 278 cams, anyone have an estimate on the power band rev range?

Instead of starting a new thread, ill just continue with this one (changed subject). Update.....Manifold is basicly done, just needs a few adjustments and its good to go. Bottom end.....saving for steel rods and ARP's, will be using a set for the 1600 corsa, 129.75mm iirc, same size as the 1800. Fueling....will be getting aftermarket pump, AFPR and thinking of changing injectors, I read current ones are 210cc?? And then thats all the parts.
ET for completion....sometime around July/August
