Im busy designing and building a new box for my UTE, what is the best wood that i can use to build the double box out of?

Supawood 16mm is the bees knees.
If this is your first box building exercise I suggest that you stay with building a sealed box and avoid using Fiberglass.
There are two simple ways of building a sub box in a UTE. Refer to my thread in Show n Shine as the first example. The other way is to take it all the way down to the floor in an angle.

fibreglass is easy
just set aside like 3 weeks worth of nights and take your time.
can seal it leka and make it look however you want
