 What would be a good amp for this sub? its an INFINITY REFERENCE 1240 12inch SVC: Power Handling, RMS 300 W Power Handling, Peak 1200 W Frequency Response 33Hz-300Hz Nominal Impedance 4 ohms Sensitivity (2.83V@1m) 91 dB Enclosure Type 3/4" (19mm) MDF bass-reflex, with Slipstream port

what else do you plan on running in the car? have you got any other speakers or amps in at the moment? whats your budget like? are you willing to spend for the quality of sound or are you on a tight budget still wanting good quality?
these are the RMS ratings for the ice power amp:

150W X 4CH @ 2 Ohm RMS 100W X 4CH @ 4 Ohm RMS No plans of running anything else at the moment guy, deck is powering my 6x9's and mids fine, car's exhaust is just drowning out the base haha...if the quality of sound is gona be good and clean then I might be willing to pay, but otherwise I don't really wanna fork out too much you know? Just want something that will drive the sub nicely and give good base

6x9's and mids on the deck is not nearly as good as it can be when running from an amp.
if you do go for the ice power mentioned above you can run a set of speakers as well as the sub from the amp and it will play a whole lot better. but get someone to wire it up properly for best results.
i would run a decent set of mids and the sub from the amp and then run the 6x9's from the deck.
