I have a Targa Street+ 5000w DVC the 2 ohm version
Its 650rms x 2 and I wanna run it on 1 ohm... Just wondering what's a good amp to run it but won't cost me too much
Any advice please?

i have heard a few buddies saying they like it as well, but never had personal experience with them. my eldest brother had a 4 channel XTC running his sub and speakers, but they stole his whole setup a week after installation so we didn't really get to weigh up the pro's and cons.

I think I have a 4 gauge wiring kit fitted, wiring was installed by Soundmatch a few years back so I hope that's fine?

I have RCA's like that connected to the headunit towards the 4 channel amps and then another pair by the audio out towards the monoblock

4 Gauge is perfect for your setup
Some ppl prefer to connect the RCA's to the mono block 1st and then to the 4ch amp for your other speakers.... (They say you loose bass quality or power when u connect it 1st to the 4ch amp and then to the mono)

I had no idea about that, so for optimum power ill need to get new RCA's fitted because these RCA's split into dual RCA's each for the 4 channel

This is 1 of the reasons i prefer pioneer headunits. 3 rca's from back of headunit. 1 for fronts, 1 for rears and 1 for subs.
