no parametric man. unless you cant change the settings on your deck.
parametric makes it easy to "untune" the setup. once you have it setup/tuned correctly then you wouldn't want to change it again. only thing that changes from there is your bass which you can just use a bass controller for.

with the parametric however you might think you going to play around but then never ge it back the wqay you initially wanted it. or a laaitie comes and plays with it or sometimes even turn a knob by accident and then things don't ever sound right again lol.

i would also keep the in-dash if it is feature packed and working hundreds.

Well, it will help with quality because most of the indash decks don't have alot of settings. Maybe you have 3 bands at most to adjust. Unless you get one of the better known brands. Hence me asking.

Awe, thats why I said that. Was mah just letting you know the reason for me asking. Thats another reason why I mah stick with MP3 HU's and gave my parametric away.

i also used to like the idea of being able to tune and adjust at anytime... until it became annoying lol. kids and parametrics are crap lol

Most Systems, even with parametric, once it's set, it stays like that. Only thing you normally adjust is bass, isn't it?

What 8v's is saying is that kids can come and mess with it or someone else messes with it, then you have to reset and its never the same again. With Decks if you remove the battery, same thing, settings are lost and have to retune.

tune with equaliser on deck (if it has the feature) and add a bass controller to the amp. then you're A for AWAY lol
