I've tried Miriams & Aneesas, so I thought I'd try this place
Wife & I went there on Fri, around 5:30 in the afternoon

I'm not sure if the reason why it was so busy was cos' it was pay weekend for most (except me), or cos' lots of people were there for the breaking of their fast, or if its always like that, BUT DAMN...it was really busy & congested
People carrying food & trying to avoid having their food knocked over & the lines & stuff

Saw what I wanted & after standing in the till line (cashier wasn't that helpful as well) they tell me the item I wanted is out of stock
Was it that difficult to put a small notice up on the menu board where I saw the menu item

Anyways, I was rushed to then just choose something else quickly cos' the people were waiting behind us. The collection queue was also - oh so joyful

The 1/4 tikka chicken was oversized ( like that fair field hormone-induced chicken we used to buy for camps  ) & was weirdly pink/red in colour, not pink/red like not cooked properly...just visually pink/red in colour AND it didn't taste nice
Reminded me of JHB's sand colour

Chips was ok...
3 samoosas was ok I guess
It didn't cross my mind twice that we should definitely takeaway & not sit down
Wife's butter chicken wasn't all that as well
I guess the price warrants the food?

I would've been much better off with a toasted steak sandwich from miriams

Anyways, :|

I've only eaten their food 3 times and it wasn't bad. I worked for 24.com so the closest places to us was McDonald's, KFC and Hungry Lion so I normally just went there instead. Unless the women in the office went to EB and I just gave them some money and said "surprise me".

Must admit I've never had a bad experience there ... and I've been there a fair few times.
First time was around the time the Soccer World Cup was hosted here ... we'd walk from the CTICC just to get some food from the Bazaar.

My fav is the chicken Dosa.

I never order the pizza though. Cos' it's not a pizza place, and THAT queue is always long.

i think their quality has dropped quite a bit over the last year.
lines have always been terrible. i think this is due to the design of the shop as well as the pricing being so low.

Service had never been tops so i won't comment on that LOL.

the tikka specifically never did it for me, it lacked flavour. butter chickena and their other curries used to be nice, but now it's oily as hell. Only thing i would gladly buy now is a schwarma with chips. big portion and the taste is good.
