i have a 1600 GSE Kadette.but my motor is saat...rings gone, valve timing...alles...but what i am doing is installing a 36 dcd carb.i also have a pierburg...k@k carb.the jets are all exposed and get dirty quickly. i am buying an adapter plate from windsor motors for R330. the weber I got from a cousin...got to love family. i found a place that sells engine parts wholesale.but i cant remember the name.when i phoned them like in jan, they had new webers for R 1700 (36 dcd's) and R500 for overhauled ones.but not for the life of me can i remember the places name. I have mega issues with my cabbie...she smokes now (i have a heavy foot  ) and my rear brakes lock up....but im sure my weber will fix that  Just bare in mind suspension and brakes! I saw a GSE in Bonnerts scrapyard...with a GSI motor...its sad..all cub models are front end smashes  when are you posting pics of your ride?hope you come right.

your car is awsome. your engine also looks in good nick.dont be offended,but was this an olderer persons car? you have a nice cabbie. in the pics you have a breather filter or something just above the alternator or something? curious. I live in Fairdale Terraces, close to Diep River Train station. we probably drive past each other all the time, just going to fast to notice!

@ Raven - thnx bud...Yeah got the car from a grannie...Always the best buys hey... Nah don't have a breather filter, but am tempted to get one...Serious bra? I live in Edgware Close... HAHA! Don't mind the jacking guys...I've done my fair share of it... Update on the carb...My mate has now got a filter for the carb...And he is tuning the carb with a CO machine...So it will be just right when we drop it in  ...
